PAC Pictavia lectures Each winter a season of lectures is held by the Society at Pictavia near Brechin in Angus. These are very popular and attract persons from a wide area of Scotland. The lectures cost £2.50 to non-members, start at 7.30 pm and tea/coffee and biscuits are available. The date for the remainder of this season is 16 March. The dates for the 2007/2008 season are . 16th November 14th December 18th January 15th February 14th March
Pictish Arts Society The announcement of an award of £3,500 to the Pictish Arts Society has been met with delight by members of the committee. President Norman Atkinson greeted the news by remarking: “The Pictish Arts Society is delighted
that its bid for lottery funding has been successful. The grant means
that we will have on-site at Pictavia all the equipment necessary to support
those who present the increasingly popular series of winter lectures and
other presentations at venues throughout Scotland. The award has been made for the purchase of various pieces of computer and video equipment which will be detailed in the official awards announcement. For further information contact Stewart
